The Carolina Panthers and wide receiver Jalen Coker have agreed to terms on a three-year, $35-million contract extension, his agent told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Coker's new deal can reach up to $41 million in value based on incentives.

Coker was an exclusive rights free agent this offseason, which would've allowed the Panthers to tender him an offer for the league minimum to keep him on the roster in 2026. He was set to become a restricted free agent in 2027 prior to inking his new deal.

He initially joined Carolina as an undrafted free agent out of Holy Cross in 2024. He quickly developed into a reliable target in the passing game, hauling in 32 passes for 478 yards and two touchdowns in his rookie campaign.

Head coach Dave Canales has touted Coker as the team's No. 2 receiver behind Tetairoa McMillan. The 6-foot-3, 213-pounder finished second on the team with 394 yards to go along with three scores.

The Panthers are optimistic that Coker can replicate his performance during Carolina's wild-card round game against the Los Angeles Rams, when he posted 134 yards on nine catches and a TD.
