Stefanski mum on Browns' starting QB choice vs. Jaguars
Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski declined to reveal who'll start at quarterback for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to ESPN's Jake Trotter.
The Browns will turn to either Joe Flacco or rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who missed last week's loss to the Los Angeles Rams due to a concussion. Stefanski said Friday that Thompson-Robinson is now out of the concussion protocol, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Thompson-Robinson started the two games prior to the Week 13 matchup in Los Angeles. He went 1-1 with one touchdown and one interception but registered only 299 passing yards.
Meanwhile, the 38-year-old Flacco threw for 254 yards with two touchdowns to one interception against the Rams.
The Jaguars also face uncertainty at the quarterback position as Trevor Lawrence deals with a high ankle sprain.
Cleveland is 7-5 and holds a wild-card spot in the AFC playoff race.
