Broncos' Jeudy: I have nothing against Steve Smith after TNF confrontation
Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy cleared the air surrounding his Thursday Night Football pregame confrontation with former five-time Pro Bowler Steve Smith last week.
"Where I'm from, if someone talks bad about you, you don't go to them in person and try to act friendly toward them like you didn't just talk bad about them," Jeudy said Thursday.
Jeudy added: "If you feel some type of way, keep that same energy when you see me in person. I don't got nothing against him or anything, that's just how I feel."
Smith went viral last week after ripping Jeudy on-air after he claimed the Broncos wide receiver snubbed him before Thursday's game. The 44-year-old said he approached Jeudy to apologize for making critical comments about him on his podcast.

Jeudy admitted that he would've reacted differently had he known Smith was coming to apologize.
"One thing I do agree on, I feel like I should have just listened to what he had to say. But at the same time, I'm going back to my roots and where I'm from," Jeudy said. "Once somebody talks bad about you behind your back, don't expect to come to them in person and think everything gonna be OK."
Jeudy has caught 20 passes for 222 yards this season, though he finished last Thursday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs with just three catches and 14 yards.
