The Las Vegas Raiders are signing veteran linebacker Blake Martinez, a source told Jordan Schultz, theScore's NFL insider.
Martinez joins the AFC West side more than a week after a reported free-agent visit. He visited the Baltimore Ravens around the same time he met with the Raiders.
The 28-year-old spent the last two seasons with the New York Giants but was released prior to the start of the 2022 campaign. He made 19 starts for the club and recorded 174 tackles, three sacks, and one interception. His final year in New York was cut short after three games due to a torn ACL.
The Green Bay Packers selected Martinez in the fourth round of the 2016 draft. His 144 tackles in 2017 tied for the league high.
