Urban Meyer rejoins Fox as college football analyst
Former Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer is returning to college football as a member of Fox's "Big Noon Kickoff" cast, the network announced Friday.
Meyer, 58, worked on the show in 2019 and 2020 prior to becoming Jaguars head coach.
Jacksonville parted with the longtime college coach in December after he became embroiled in multiple controversies, including an allegation that he kicked former kicker Josh Lambo during a practice. The Jaguars went 2-11 before Meyer's ouster. He later called his tenure in the NFL "the worst experience I've had in my professional lifetime."
Meyer won three national championships during his 17 seasons as a collegiate coach - two with Florida and one with Ohio State. His head coaching career began with stops at Bowling Green and Utah.
