Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is dealing with a thumb injury, though he should be good to play in Thursday night's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The veteran signal-caller was icing his hand during the Bucs' Week 5 win against the Miami Dolphins. He arrived at the postgame press conference with his hand wrapped up and described the ailment as a "football injury," according to Rob Maaddi of The Associated Press.

The injury did not prevent Brady from picking apart the Dolphins' defense Sunday. He finished with 411 passing yards, five touchdowns, and zero interceptions. His 144.4 passer rating was also his highest of the season.

The 44-year-old has led the Bucs to a 4-1 record to start the 2021 campaign. He's completed just over 66% of his passes for 1,767 yards while also tossing 15 touchdowns to two interceptions.
