Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson returned to practice Monday, according to ESPN's Sarah Barshop.

The 25-year-old was seen talking to general manager Nick Caserio before practice, and he also connected with Anthony Miller for a touchdown during the session.

He headed off the field shortly after while the rest of the team continued to practice, according to The Athletic's Aaron Reiss.

Watson participated in the Texans' first five practices of training camp in a limited capacity while only taking part in individual drills. He then missed the next five sessions.

The signal-caller was reportedly dealing with lingering calf and ankle tightness during his absence, though the injuries were deemed minor.

The Texans have remained silent on Watson's future with the team. He's currently facing 22 civil lawsuits, and 10 criminal complaints were filed against him.

The three-time Pro Bowler also reportedly requested a trade this offseason.
