Thursday's Round 1 was the meat of the NFL draft, but bettors can keep the money train rolling into the weekend. The second day is filled with plenty of betting opportunities, so let's dive into the best wagers for Friday's Round 2.

Which position will the Jaguars draft with pick No. 33?

Position Odds
Cornerback -140
Safety +250
Offensive Lineman +430
Tight End +430
Linebacker +900
Defensive Lineman +1400
Wide Receiver +1600
Quarterback +11000
Running Back +11000

The market expects a corner to go off the board to the Jaguars with the first pick in the second round after the club plucked Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence at No. 1 and running back Travis Etienne, another ex-Tiger, at No. 25. Instead, I think they'll go safety (+250).

Trevon Moehrig's the pick to click here. He's likely the only safety who could go this high, and he'd fill a desperate need in the middle of the field for a Jaguars defense that allowed 11.4 yards per completion in 2020, the fourth-worst mark in the NFL.

Best bet: Safety (+250)

Who will the Jets take at No. 34?

Player Odds
RB Javonte Williams +400
CB Asante Samuel Jr. +450
LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah +550
OT Teven Jenkins +600
DT Christian Barmore +700
CB Kelvin Joseph +700
LB Azeez Ojulari +700
CB Tyson Campbell +800
S Trevor Moehrig +1000
DE Carlos Basham Jr. +1000
WR Elijah Moore +1000
RB Trey Sermon +1100
G Sam Cosmi +1600
G Liam Eichenberg +1600
CB Elijah Molden +1600

This is a pivotal draft for Jets general manager Joe Douglas, who already checked the boxes on a couple offensive prospects Thursday. New York landed its franchise quarterback at No. 2 in Zach Wilson, then traded up from No. 23 to 14 to scoop a protector in the form of guard Alijah Vera-Tucker.

The next order of business should be on the defensive side of the ball. The piece that makes the most sense is Asante Samuel Jr.

The Jets didn't reach for a defensive back in free agency due to the shortage of talent. They have Brian Poole, who graded out as PFF's No. 11 corner in football last year, but the value on Samuel might be too good to pass up here.

After a whopping five cornerbacks found homes Thursday night, the Florida State product is currently the best available.

Best bet: Asante Samuel Jr. (+450)

Which QB will be drafted next?

Player Odds
Davis Mills -160
Kyle Trask +210
Kellen Mond +300
Jamie Newman +3300
Sam Ehlinger +5000
Feleipe Franks +6000

Lay the chalk on Mills (-160). His draft total over/under's 60.5 - 14 spots lower than the closest quarterback (Mond, 74.5).

The 6-foot-4 pro-style quarterback only saw 11 starts due to both injuries and the shortened 2020 season, but he put together enough decent tape to warrant Day 2 consideration. Mills registered 1,508 passing yards and seven touchdowns in five games this past year and was 247Sports' top QB prospect in the 2017 class.

Best bet: Davis Mills (-160)
