The New England Patriots aren't finished with their free-agent spending.

The Patriots are signing pass-rusher Matt Judon to a four-year, $56-million deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The contract also includes $32 million guaranteed.

Judon spent the first five seasons of his career with the Baltimore Ravens. He played last year under the franchise tag, but the Ravens didn't tag him for a second time this offseason. The defender has recorded six-plus sacks in each of his last four campaigns, including a career-high 9.5 in 2019.

The Patriots struggled to get after the quarterback in 2020. They recorded just 24 sacks, with Chase Winovich leading the team with 5.5 sacks.

New England has already agreed to deals with tight end Jonnu Smith, defensive back Jalen Mills, and defensive tackle Davon Godchaux.
