New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman went viral on Thursday night for immediately putting on a mask after making his team's first-round selection.

"Well, I have a young IT fellow over here with me," Gettleman told ESPN's Jordan Raanan. "And we're social distancing. Part of it is the mask. I'm fine."

Gettleman is also a cancer survivor. He was treated for lymphoma two years ago, which puts him at higher risk of COVID-19.

The Giants selected Georgia offensive tackle Andrew Thomas fourth overall.
