Acquiring Washington Redskins offensive tackle Trent Williams is "still on the table" for the Cleveland Browns, a source told ESPN's Josina Anderson.
However, the source added that "nothing is imminent or super close right now."
Washington's asking price for the 31-year-old is reportedly a second-round pick, though it's negotiable.
Williams missed the entire 2019 season because of a holdout over contractual disputes and a failed physical due to discomfort with his helmet. He had a cancerous growth removed from his head last offseason.
When on the field, Williams has established himself as one of the NFL's premier blind-side protectors, making the Pro Bowl during every season from 2012 to 2018.
Williams has the potential to be the missing ingredient for a Cleveland offense loaded with weapons. The Browns boasted the 23rd-ranked offensive line in the NFL last season, according to PFF. Chris Hubbard, who's currently atop Cleveland's depth chart at left tackle, recorded a 50.5 PFF grade in 2019.
