The Denver Broncos have reached an agreement with longtime Houston Texans defensive back Kareem Jackson on a three-year, $33-million deal, a source told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Jackson, 30, spent the first nine years of his career in Houston.
The safety market has been active on the first day of the 2019 free-agent negotiating period. Landon Collins reportedly agreed to a six-year, $84-million deal with the Washington Redskins, and Tyrann Mathieu followed suit by reportedly landing with the Kansas City Chiefs for three years and $42 million.
Jackson's agreement would be the ninth-richest agreed-upon deal on Monday.
