Former Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots, and New York Jets offensive coordinator Charlie Weis is interested in a return to the NFL for 2019, he told ESPN's Adam Schefter over the weekend.
Weis most recently served as head coach of Kansas at the college level from 2012-14. His only other head coaching role was with Notre Dame from 2005-2009.
The 62-year-old said he's waiting for the right situation, but he has his wife's blessing for a return to the sidelines.
