Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota will be available to play Sunday against the Houston Texans, but that apparently won't stop backup Blaine Gabbert from getting on the field.

Head coach Mike Vrabel said Friday that he anticipates a scenario in which both quarterbacks will likely play in Week 2, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Mariota left the Titans' season opener against the Miami Dolphins due to an elbow injury after completing nine of 16 passes for 103 yards and two interceptions. Gabbert, who's on his fourth NFL team, entered in relief and completed 11 of 22 attempts for 117 yards and one interception.

The Titans announced Friday that both starting offensive tackles Taylor Lewan and Jack Conklin won't play Sunday.
