Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten is following the charitable lead of his team and plans to use Thursday's preseason game as a means to provide relief from the damage caused by Hurricane Harvey in the Houston area.

Witten will auction off his 12-seat Hall of Fame suite for the team's final preseason contest and will donate the proceeds to the Houston Area Women's Center.

It's another charitable effort from the Cowboys family after the team offered to host the game originally scheduled to be played at Houston's NRG Center. They had previously agreed to match the $1 million donation from Houston Texans owner Bob McNair to the United Way of Greater Houston Flood Relief Fund.
