New York Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa underwent successful surgery on a bulging disc Tuesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Enunwa will miss the entire 2017 season as a result of the injury, suffered during a non-contact drill during practice earlier in August.
The 25-year-old recorded 58 receptions for 857 yards and four touchdowns in 16 games last season.
Enunwa was expected to be the Jets' top target this season and his absence is a crushing blow to an already depleted offense.
