Patriots' Gilmore takes subtle shot at Bills over national TV opportunities

Stephon Gilmore is already making his presence felt on the New England Patriots and couldn't resist taking a jab at his former club.

Gilmore signed a five-year, $65-million contract with the Patriots on March 9 after spending the first five seasons of his career with the Buffalo Bills.

The Patriots have won the AFC East every year since Gilmore's been in the league and they are well-positioned to defend their title again after a strong offseason.

New England is a fixture on the national television schedule and Gilmore remarked on his newfound opportunities, stating his friends and family will finally get to see him on the big stage.

It's a relatively innocuous comment by Gilmore, but one that speaks to the gulf in talent between the two clubs. In any event, Gilmore will be presented with two opportunities every year to ball out against the Bills.
