Derek Carr was handsomely rewarded for an MVP-worthy campaign in 2016 when the Oakland Raiders handed their young quarterback the most lucrative deal in NFL history Thursday.
The extension is reportedly worth $125 million over five years, just edging out Andrew Luck for the title of the league's highest-paid player.
