The Patriots selected McDermott in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, 211th overall.
Analysis:
Yet another pick that will probably work out well for the Patriots. McDermott is an enormous tackle at 6-foot-8, 307 pounds, but he's a great athlete with a 5.18-second 40, 105-inch broad jump, and 7.52-second three-cone. In terms of frame and athleticism, he's not unlike Patriots tackle Nate Solder.
