21. Detroit Lions - Takkarist McKinley, EDGE, UCLA

A lack of consistent threats elsewhere on the defensive line has impacted Ziggy Ansah's production. Another explosive edge-rusher like McKinley would open things up for the entire unit.

22. Miami Dolphins - Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida

Miami stays in state to address what may be the most glaring need on the roster. Wilson and 2016 second-round pick Xavien Howard are an impressive, young tandem that can lead the defensive backfield for years to come.

23. New York Giants - Zach Cunningham, LB, Vanderbilt

New York has done a tremendous job of rebuilding the defensive line and the secondary over the past two offseasons. Now's the time to do the same in the middle, and Cunningham can contribute at inside linebacker on all three downs.

24. Oakland Raiders - Budda Baker, S, Washington

Baker joins Karl Joseph on the back end as the Raiders add a top safety talent on the draft's opening night for the second time in as many years. The Washington standout's playmaking ability at free safety is an ideal complement to Joseph's physicality down in the box.

25. Houston Texans - Malik McDowell, DT, Michigan State

The rich get richer as Houston adds yet another dominant lineman to the defensive front. McDowell and J.J. Watt working the inside with Jadeveon Clowney and Whitney Mercilus on the edge is a nightmare for opposing offenses.

26. Green Bay Packers - Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford

Green Bay will be looking for another feature back with Eddie Lacy likely heading for free agency. A first-round investment is justified by the problems the Packers have had at running back of late, and McCaffrey's ability to produce as a ball-carrier and pass-catcher make the fit too good to pass up.

27. Seattle Seahawks - Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin

Seattle can't keep putting one of the league's worst offensive lines in front of Russell Wilson. Ramczyk falling to this spot is the best-case scenario, as he's a potential long-term answer at left tackle.

28. Pittsburgh Steelers - Sidney Jones, CB, Washington

The third member of a stacked Washington defense to hear his name called in the opening round, Jones is the playmaker the Steelers have been missing in the secondary.

29. Atlanta Falcons - Taco Charlton, EDGE, Michigan

Charlton is a much-needed upgrade opposite Vic Beasley in the short term, and it's also possible that he develops into a Michael Bennett type who can rotate down and create pressure as an interior pass-rusher.

30. Kansas City Chiefs - Desmond King, CB, Iowa

Finding a running mate for Marcus Peters is a must for Kansas City this offseason. Quarterbacks might be hesitant to test either boundary with King lined up on the other side.

31. Dallas Cowboys - Carl Lawson, EDGE, Auburn

Dallas won't be able to count on getting a return from their Randy Gregory pick anytime soon, so pass-rushers are a pressing need. Lawson showed what he could do when healthy as a junior, racking up 9.5 sacks and 14 tackles for loss.

32. New England Patriots - Jabrill Peppers, S, Michigan

Peppers' draft stock seems up in the air due to some uncertainty about the position he'll play at the next level. Who better to find a fit for that unique skill set than Bill Belichick?
