A bill that would lead to the construction of an NFL-ready stadium in Nevada has been approved by the Nevada general assembly, according to Ed Graney of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
This marks the second step towards the realization of a potential move of the Oakland Raiders to Las Vegas after the state senate voted in favor of the deal earlier in the month.
The bill received 28 votes of approval from the general assembly.
The proposal is to build a 65,000-seat stadium in the Las Vegas area.
It's being reported that Nevada governor Brian Sandoval and Raiders owner Mark Davis will sign the stadium bill on Monday.
NFL owners would have to approve the relocation of the Raiders by a three-fourths majority vote, however.
