Day 1

Barkley continues to shine

What can't Saquon Barkley do? The consensus top running back in the draft was a beast on the bench press, knocking out 29 reps, and followed it up by showing off his 41-inch vertical and spectacular speed in the 40.

Lamar Jackson is a quarterback. Period.

Lamar Jackson, one of the nation's best college quarterbacks for the past two seasons, reportedly had several NFL teams asking him to work out as a receiver at the combine. However, Jackson denied those rumors Friday, stating plainly that he will be a quarterback.

The former Heisman winner is confident enough in his game film that he has also chosen to not run the 40-yard dash.

Is Baker the man to lift Browns' curse?

Orlando Brown having a rough combine

Oklahoma tackle Orlando Brown made the early headlines on the first day of the combine, for all the wrong reasons. He pushed out just 14 reps on the bench press and was even less impressive in the 40-yard dash, with the fifth-slowest time at the combine since 2003.

Watch: Longest. 40. Ever.

Guice: 'I'm going to give your defense hell'

Derrius Guice has a word of caution for prospective NFL franchises: Don't pass him over. The LSU running back promises to make life "hell" for the teams that pass on him in the upcoming draft.
