Tua Tagovailoa made history against The Citadel on Saturday.

The Heisman favorite threw his 31st touchdown pass in the third quarter, setting a new Alabama single-season record.

The lefty received help from his tight end Irv Smith Jr. on the record-breaking score.

AJ McCarron set the previous school record for most touchdown passes in a season in 2012.

Tagovailoa threw for 340 yards and three touchdowns in the game before being subbed out for quarterback Jalen Hurts.
