Jeremiah Smith keeps reminding everyone each week with his play that he's the best football player in college, and now he's using his words to make his point, too.

Smith torched another secondary on Saturday, catching 11 balls against Iowa for 206 yards and two touchdowns. He hit the Heisman pose after finding the end zone the second time, then punctuated his performance in his postgame interview.

"You've just got to (let) the Heisman voters or whoever it is know that I'm the best player in the country," Smith said, according to Adam Rittenberg of ESPN. "I've got to be there."

Smith already seems like a near-lock as a Heisman finalist, recording 44 receptions for 823 yards and nine touchdowns in a red-hot start to the season.

He now also holds the Ohio State all-time records for receptions, yards, and touchdowns, leapfrogging Chris Olave with his second TD on Saturday.

Most people who call themselves the best player in the country might sound boastful, but it's easy to argue that Smith is just speaking the truth.
