Four-star quarterback Emory Jones flipped from Ohio State and signed with Florida, the Gators announced Wednesday.

Jones was ranked 20th overall in his class and was the highest-ranked four-star quarterback, ahead of Jacob Sirmon (Washington) and Tanner McKee (unsigned).

After Florida missed out on four-star quarterback Matt Corral, who committed to the Gators but signed with Ole Miss, head coach Dan Mullen went hard after Jones, who's projected to be a great fit in his offense.

The 6-foot-3 dual-threat QB was considered a lock to sign with Ohio State after being committed there for 18 months. Florida and Florida State quickly emerged as suitors, while Alabama and Auburn also showed interest.
