No. 23 Duke has been mired in a free fall of late, prompting head coach Mike Krzyzewski to juggle his starting lineup and make full line changes on multiple occasions.
The notable change to the starting lineup was the absence of guard Rasheed Sulaimon, who was replaced by Matt Jones, a player who had averaged less than eight minutes per game on the season.
Even still, it was Sulaimon who saw some key touches down the stretch of the game, and after Duke gave up a late double-digit lead after a 13-1 Virginia run, the team needed a big play, and they got it from Sulaimon, who hit what would stand as the the game-winning three-pointer with less than 20 seconds remaining in the game.
