Tar Heels' Robinson out indefinitely after being involved in 2-car accident
North Carolina guard Brandon Robinson will be out indefinitely after being involved in a two-car accident over the weekend, the school announced Monday.
The 6-foot-4 senior wasn't seriously injured or issued any citation.
The driver of the other vehicle was charged with impaired driving DWI.
Robinson has started 12 games for the Tar Heels, averaging 12.1 points, 3.4 boards, 3.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per contest.
North Carolina is already missing leading scorer Cole Anthony while freshman guard Anthony Harris recently underwent season-ending ACL surgery.
The Tar Heels are having arguably the worst season in the Roy Williams era and are in serious danger of missing the NCAA Tournament for the first time since the 2009-10 campaign.
