DFS: Bargain Plays - Wednesday's Top Sleeper Picks

Here are the top sleepers in NBA daily fantasy for Wednesday, November 18:

PG Dennis Schroder, Hawks (vs. Kings)

With Jeff Teague likely to miss another game, Schroder remains an inexpensive replacement in Atlanta. Even when Teague was starting, Schroder was averaging around 20-22 minutes. He's trended upward with Teague hurt, playing around 30 minutes out of necessity.

When Schroder gets the minutes, he produces. He scores some points, tallies a good amount of dimes and will get enough rebounds to be worth consideration. With his minutes increasing, his salary has ticked up a bit, too, so his days as a bargain may soon be numbered.

SG Rondae Hollis-Jefferson,Nets (at Hornets)

Hollis-Jefferson continues to find his way into the starting rotation. His low floor prevents him from being a given success, but he'll surprise you for the occasional boom game. Be warned, the risk is high and the ceiling is relatively low, but he's inexpensive in a fairly soft matchup.

SF T.J. Warren, Suns (vs. Bulls)

Warren notched a career-high 19 points against the Lakers on Monday night. His value is entirely tied to his scoring as he doesn't do much in any other category. If he gets hot, which he did by shooting 69% from the field his last game, he's a decent option.

He still doesn't cost much by virtue of his limited usage off the bench and his one-dimensional style of play. Worth a look if you're hurting for cap space. Keep an eye on his status. He's suffering from a minor illness and is questionable to play.

PF Channing Frye, Magic (vs. Timberwolves)

Victor Oladipo is expected to play Wednesday, but Frye could still log play big minutes if Oladipo isn't 100 %. Frye has a very low floor even when he gets the start, but his cost won't break your bank. He could return mid-level value and allow bigger spending at players more likely to win the day.

C Jonas Valanciunas, Raptors (at Jazz)

Valanciunas is a combo bargain and contrarian play Wednesday night. Considering the options available at center, Valanciunas can be expected to be rostered in a small amount of DFS games. While he costs more than a traditional bargain, by comparison to his peers - Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol and Nikola Vucevic - he costs very little.

The matchup against Utah isn't ideal, either, but it only plays into his value if he does take off. Other than a terrible game against Sacramento, he's had his most consistent season so far - 13.7 points, 9.8 rebounds and 0.7 blocks.
