Oklahoma City Thunder wing Jalen Williams was ruled out of Saturday's Game 7 showdown against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday due to a lingering hamstring strain.

The Santa Clara product sustained the injury in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals and missed the next three contests.

Williams returned to the lineup for Game 6 but managed just one point and two turnovers in 10 minutes.

Second-year guard Ajay Mitchell will also miss Game 7 due to a calf injury. He hasn't played since he was hurt in Game 3 with eight minutes remaining in the third quarter.

Mitchell was having a breakout performance in the postseason, averaging 15.1 points, 4.3 assists, 3.7 boards, and 1.5 steals across 11 appearances, including seven starts.

Jared McCain started the last two games in Mitchell's place, tallying 16.5 points per contest and shooting 41.7% from deep.

Oklahoma City is looking to punch its second straight ticket to the NBA Finals. Meanwhile, San Antonio hasn't appeared in the league's championship series since winning it all in 2014.
