Cavs sign Seth Curry to 10-day contract

The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed Seth Curry to a 10-day contract to help alleviate their long list of injuries.

To make room for Curry, the Cavs released forward Shane Edwards, whose 10-day contract was set to expire Friday.

Curry, younger brother of Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, has appeared in 36 games for the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League, averaging 19.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.4 steals in 35.2 minutes per game.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound shooting guard signed with the Memphis Grizzlies in December but was released after appearing in just one game for the team.

Curry will be available for Saturday night’s game against the Houston Rockets.
