Celtics' Brown: 'I’m the best 2-way player in the game'
Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown was happy to toot his own horn following Saturday's emphatic 146-115 road victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.
"I feel like I’m the best two-way player in the game," Brown told Celtics sideline reporter Abby Chin following the game. "I just want to take on the challenge each and every night to help my team get wins."
Brown matched a career-high with 50 points on 18-of-26 shooting and received a standing ovation and "MVP" chants from a large contingent of Celtics fans at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.
"Tonight was one of those special nights, where I felt like every shot was going in."

The victory snapped the Clippers' six-game winning streak and moved the Celtics to three games back of the Detroit Pistons for top spot in the East. Boston has won seven of eight contests and four of five on a road swing that culminated with Saturday's win.
Brown, a four-time All-Star and former Finals MVP, is averaging a career-high 30.1 points on blistering 51% shooting in the absence of Jayson Tatum. Tatum sustained a non-contact Achilles rupture in Game 4 of the Conference semifinals versus the New York Knicks, and in September hinted at a potential return this season.
In the interim, Brown vows to continue leading the Celtics ahead of an upcoming stretch of four games in six nights.
"We've got a tough schedule coming up so I'm just gonna try to keep it going."
