Report: Pacers' Haliburton tore Achilles in Game 7
Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton suffered a torn right Achilles tendon during Indiana's Game 7 defeat against the Oklahoma City Thunder, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.
The injury occurred in the first half Sunday when Haliburton slipped while attempting to drive past Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. He immediately began pounding the floor in pain and was carried to the locker room by his teammates.
Haliburton was playing through a calf strain that intensified after Game 5. He ultimately suited up in Game 6 and didn't have a minutes restriction.
The 25-year-old was off to a hot start in the series finale before exiting the contest. He scored nine points on five shot attempts and finished the contest with a game-high three 3-pointers.
Haliburton became the third notable player to sustain a torn Achilles in the 2025 NBA playoffs after Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard in Game 4 of the opening round and Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum in Game 4 of the East semifinals against the New York Knicks.
