Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton didn't suit up for Saturday's pivotal Game 3 versus the Boston Celtics.

The All-Star guard is considered day-to-day after an MRI revealed a hamstring strain, according to The Athletic's Joe Vardon and Shams Charania.

Haliburton's availability for Game 4 remains in question. The Pacers are being cautious with his injury moving forward, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

Haliburton was previously listed as questionable after aggravating the strain in Game 2.

The Iowa State product suffered a similar ailment in January that sidelined him for 10 games, Vardon and Charania add.

Haliburton led the Pacers to their first Eastern Conference final in 10 years, averaging 18.7 points, 8.2 assists, 4.8 boards, and 1.3 steals during the club's playoff run.

The 24-year-old tallied an NBA-leading 10.9 assists per contest during the regular season and recently earned his first All-NBA selection.

Boston holds a 2-0 series lead over Indiana and can move just one win away from the Finals with a road victory Saturday evening.
