The NBA fined the Dallas Mavericks $100,000 for violating the league's bench decorum rules during their Game 2 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Friday.

It's the third time this postseason that the league has punished the franchise over the actions of its bench, taking their total playoff bill to $175,000. Dallas had already received fines of $25,000 and $50,000.

Dallas' discipline stems from players standing "for an extended period" in and away from the team bench area and "encroaching upon the playing court" Friday. The league didn't cite any specific instances but says it occurred on multiple occasions.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said Saturday that he had no issues with the activity from the Mavericks bench, so long as they don't disrupt the on-court action.

"I don't mind it," Kerr said, courtesy of NBC Sports' Ali Thanawalla. "I love the fact that Dallas' bench is energetic and talking trash and into it. I think that's what fans want to see. They want to see a team that cares, and they want to see energy and chemistry. So I love it, but when it interferes with the game, that's when it crosses the line.

"So I think that's the only thing I'm concerned with. If there is a play that ... if there's a person on the court, person who is standing up calling for the ball, that's a little too much. But otherwise, I really enjoy it. I think it's great."
