Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry was uncertain of his status for Tuesday's pivotal Game 5 after tweaking his hamstring in Sunday's 116-108 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.

When asked postgame about playing Tuesday, Lowry said, "We'll see," according to ESPN's Nick Friedell.

Lowry added, "If you're asking if I'm gonna try and play, yes, I'll be trying to play Game 5."

He went to the locker room halfway through the second quarter to evaluate the injury. He returned to the game but did not play in the final 10 minutes of the fourth quarter.

"Put it this way, you don't want to play with it," Lowry said about the injury.

He finished Game 4 with six points on 3-for-10 shooting, seven assists, three rebounds, and two steals.

The 36-year-old guard played in Game 3 after missing four straight playoff games due to the initial hamstring injury.

Heat wing Jimmy Butler was appreciative of Lowry's eagerness to return but also expressed hope that the former All-Star would be cautious about the injury.

"The fact that he wants to play, he wants to compete, he knows our best chance of winning is with him on the floor," said Butler. "We understand that, but we also want our guy to be safe. We always have more than enough to win."

Lowry averaged 13.4 points, 7.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in 63 games for the Heat after spending nine seasons with the Toronto Raptors.
