Harden out indefinitely after rehab setback
Harden initially suffered a hamstring strain against the Houston Rockets on March 31. After sitting out a pair of games, the 2018 MVP returned against the New York Knicks on April 5. He reaggravated the ailment in the first quarter of that contest and has since missed the past six games.
The three-time scoring champion is averaging 25.4 points, 11 assists, and 8.7 rebounds in 34 games with Brooklyn since arriving in a trade from the Rockets in January.
The Nets are also currently without Kevin Durant, who's dealing with a thigh contusion. Brooklyn head coach Steve Nash says Durant is day-to-day and that he's "hopeful he can be back soon," according to USA Today's Mark Medina.
With the start of the playoffs just over one month away, the Nets' star trio of Harden, Durant, and Kyrie Irving has only played seven games together.
