CP3 passes Magic for 5th on NBA's all-time assists list

Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul passed the legendary Magic Johnson for fifth on the NBA's all-time assists leaderboard with his 10th dime in Monday's 128-127 overtime win over the Milwaukee Bucks.
The milestone came with 4:05 remaining in the fourth quarter on a pass upcourt to Devin Booker. Paul finished with 22 points, 13 assists, and seven boards.
The future Hall of Famer is now less than 200 assists from passing both Steve Nash and Mark Jackson.

Paul continues to be a force 16 years into his NBA career. The 35-year-old entered Monday's game averaging 15.6 points, 8.7 assists, and 4.6 boards over 55 appearances in 2020-21.
