The Brooklyn Nets are closing in on contract extensions with head coach Kenny Atkinson and his assistants, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The deals are reportedly expected to be finalized in the near future.
Atkinson was brought aboard by the franchise in 2016-17 after previously serving as an assistant with both the Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks.
The Nets have steadily improved each season he's been on the job, jumping from 20 victories during his first year to 28 in 2017-18. Brooklyn currently owns a 39-39 record in 2018-19 and is fighting for its first playoff berth since 2015.
