Anyone who owned a copy of NBA Jam in the 1990s will remember the iconic cover depicting a basketball bursting through paper.
Twenty-five years after the game was released, video game historian Steve Lin was able to acquire the original basketball used for the cover art in an auction.
Lin, who paid $5,736.68 for the prop, said he plans to donate it to a museum one day.
