A fraternity at the University of Central Florida was suspended after two pledges mimicked LeBron James' pregame chalk-toss ritual, resulting in the evacuation of a school building, officials confirmed to Jeff Weiner of the Orlando Sentinel.

The UCF police department reported Wednesday that a man wearing a Miami Heat-era James jersey stood up during a class and threw a powder - later identified as baby formula - in the air.

The man announced that he was "taking his talents to South Beach" and then fled the classroom with the second pledge, who was recording the stunt on his phone, according to the UCF student conduct report on the incident.

The pledges told investigators that their brothers in Sigma Pi had encouraged them to complete what they referred to as the "LeBron James task," which is a tradition of the fraternity, according to the report.

Sigma Pi was placed on an interim suspension and faces several charges under UCF's student conduct policy, including providing false or misleading information, disruptive conduct, and hazing.
