Doc Rivers: Bradley's groin injury will be season-long issue
Avery Bradley's groin issue isn't going away anytime soon.
The Los Angeles Clippers are trying to manage the injury, with coach Doc Rivers suggesting the shooting guard will have a 50-50 chance of playing each night moving forward, according to ClutchPoints' Tomer Azarly.
Bradley, 27, suffered a strained right adductor in mid-December that sidelined him for seven games. He's since missed time due to groin soreness, and will next have an opportunity to play Thursday against the Golden State Warriors.
Rivers said his fringe playoff team is considering shutting down Bradley for a few weeks, though he noted that may not solve the problem.
Bradley, who joined Los Angeles in the Blake Griffin blockbuster, is averaging 9.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in six games with the Clippers. He's set to hit unrestricted free agency this summer.
