Ingles fined $15K for hitting Adams in the groin
Justice is being served in the name of Steven Adams' oft-targeted family jewels.
Utah Jazz swingman Joe Ingles has been fined $15,000 for hitting the Oklahoma City Thunder center in the groin during Saturday's game, the league announced.
Adams has taken no shortage of shots to his nether regions, but none nearly as subtle and surreptitious as the one with which Ingles caught him.
@tribjazz am I crazy or is the reason Adams got a tech by bumping into ingles is cause ingles gave him a little nutt-tap here: pic.twitter.com/ga6N7nHNhU

The refs understandably missed it in real time. Instead, it was Adams who picked up a technical foul a few second later, when he retaliated by bumping Ingles as the two headed toward their respective benches following a timeout call.
All in a day's work for Ingles, who finished the game with a team-high 19 points to lead the Jazz to a 96-87 win. But, thanks to some meticulous sleuthing from the league office (perhaps working off a tip from Adams and the Thunder), Ingles isn't getting off scot-free.
