The Golden State Warriors passed the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls for the most victories in a single season (regular season and playoffs) after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. With the victory, the Warriors collected their 88th win of the season.
The Warriors used a flurry of threes on Friday night to pass the Bulls, setting a NBA playoff record with 17 long bombs.

Since the NBA used a best-of-five format in the first round up until 2003, the Bulls collected just 15 postseason wins en route to their fourth NBA championship. The Warriors passed the Bulls for the most regular-season wins (73) back in April.
