Tatis is the first Padres player and outfielder to win a Platinum Glove in the NL.
The 24-year-old had a terrific defensive campaign in right field for the Padres after shifting from shortstop to accommodate Xander Bogaerts. He led MLB in defensive runs saved (29) while ranking 99th percentile in arm strength and 94th percentile in range and arm value, according to Baseball Savant.
Giménez finished second in MLB in defensive runs saved (23) while finishing 100th percentile in range and ranking third in outs above average with 18.
He's the second Guardians player to win a Platinum Glove, joining Francisco Lindor, who won it in 2016.
The Toronto Blue Jays (AL) and Milwaukee Brewers (NL) took home the Team Gold Glove Awards.
