Atlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies had to be helped off the field after fouling a ball off his left knee in the fifth inning of Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Braves said X-rays returned negative. Manager Brian Snitker said Albies is day-to-day, but is likely to miss at least a day or two of action, according to 680 The Fan.
Ehire Adrianza finished the at-bat for Albies and remained in the game at second base.
Albies, 24, entered Tuesday's contest hitting .260/.318/.485 with 23 homers, 86 RBIs, and 17 stolen bases.
