The Los Angeles Dodgers are trading right-handed reliever Dylan Floro to the Miami Marlins in exchange for left-handed reliever Alex Vesia and right-handed pitching prospect Kyle Hurt, the Marlins announced Friday.

The reliever swap comes moments after the Dodgers finalized another trade to send left-hander Adam Kolarek to the Oakland Athletics.

Floro, 30, has spent the past two-and-a-half seasons with Los Angeles, posting a 3.10 ERA and 3.09 FIP in 98 2/3 innings.

Vesia, who made his major-league debut in 2020, was a part of the Marlins' historic 29-9 drubbing at the hands of the Atlanta Braves. The 24-year-old allowed 10 runs - nine earned - on seven hits and seven walks over 4 1/3 innings overall last season while making five appearances out of the bullpen.

In 2019, Vesia posted a 1.76 ERA over 66 2/3 innings across three different minor-league levels. Vesia spent time as a closer at each level, finishing 19 games and notching five saves.

Hurt was a fifth-round pick out of USC this past draft. He's yet to make a professional appearance due to the cancellation of the minor-league season last year.
