The Toronto Blue Jays don't appear to be finished with their offseason shopping spree.

The Blue Jays remain on the hunt for a high-leverage reliever or another starting pitcher and are considering right-hander Trevor Rosenthal, sources told FanSided's Robert Murray.

Rosenthal is one of the top remaining relievers available in free agency after a bounce-back campaign in 2020.

The hard-throwing 30-year-old posted a 1.90 ERA and struck out 38 hitters in 23 2/3 innings for the Kansas City Royals and San Diego Padres last season.

However, Rosenthal had a 13.50 ERA with 26 walks in 15 1/3 innings for the Washington Nationals and Detroit Tigers in 2019.

Toronto is also willing to trade from its major-league roster to acquire what it's looking for. Outfielders Randal Grichuk and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. are drawing interest from rival teams, according to Murray.

The Blue Jays already acquired George Springer, Marcus Semien, Kirby Yates, Tyler Chatwood, and Steven Matz this offseason.
