Bryce Harper's time as a member of the Nationals may be over, and the 2015 National League MVP got social media buzzing on Thursday when he posted a cryptic collage of photos on his Instagram account.

Harper's set of nine photos was accompanied by a simple message: "To the fans and the city of DC, thank you!"
Even though the 25-year-old recently said he wants to stay with the Nationals, he could leave the team while likely getting the richest contract in baseball history after becoming a free agent this offseason.
During his seven seasons in Washington, the six-time All-Star owns a .278/.387/.512 slash line with 184 home runs and 521 RBIs in 924 games.
