Las Palmas completes signing of Kevin-Prince Boateng on 1-year contract
As his older brother turns his attention to hip-hop and his younger brother wins trophy after trophy, Kevin-Prince Boateng is off to play football in the Canary Islands.
On Monday, UD Las Palmas signed Boateng on a free transfer, as the tattooed attacking midfielder joined the club on a one-year contract.

Boateng, 29, returned to AC Milan for the second half of last season after an ugly exit from FC Schalke 04, who terminated the middle brother's contract by mutual consent after Horst Heldt, the German club's sporting director, said "there was no longer a relationship of trust."
The player subsequently vowed that he would never again play in Germany.

During his second stint with Milan, Boateng only scored one goal through 11 Serie A appearances, 10 of which were as a substitute. He was then told by Silvio Berlusconi, the former prime minister of Italy and current owner of the Rossoneri, that he wouldn't be returning to the club.
At Las Palmas, Boateng will be playing in La Liga for the first time, adding the island club to a resume that also includes the likes of Hertha Berlin, Tottenham Hotspur, Borussia Dortmund, and Portsmouth.
