Sergio Ramos, renowned for taking one of the worst penalty kicks in recent memory, added to his unfortunate repertoire on Tuesday, spurning an opportunity to put Spain ahead against Croatia from the spot.
In fairness to the Spanish skipper, goalkeeper Danijel Subasic was roughly a mile off his line before the bearded centre-back struck the ball.
1 - Sergio Ramos is the first #ESP player to miss a penalty kick at the Euros since Raul against France in 2000 (exc. shoot-outs). Memory.
